Malcolm Leitch

Non-executive Director

Malcolm joined Glendinning from Unilever in 2007, with over thirty years experience in a number of different senior roles including General Management, Sales and Customer Development Board roles, Professional Markets and membership of the Unilever Global Customer Development Board.  He has an in depth knowledge of the South African FMCG market and key players as well as extensive line experience in managing large customers, developing strategic partnerships with service providers and customers.

Malcolm also has close involvement in the establishment, roll out and ongoing management of industry bodies including GS1, ECR South Africa and the Consumer Goods Council of South Africa.

In 2008 he became a non-executive director of the Glendinning Africa business unit.  He combines this role with his non-executive directorship at The Smollan Group, and his business development role at Chep.
